Medium Wool Llamas

Freddie was born on June 30, 2024 to Luda. He is doing great and having fun exploring his new world. He'll be a hiker-in-training next summer!

Triby was one of the first llamas we ever brought home to the farm, so it seems fitting that his official registry name is Trial By Fire. Over the years, we shortened it to just Triby. When we first met, he was young and skittish. A memory I have is of him freaking out anytime I tried to take a selfie with him- he wasn't having anything to do with it! Over the years with lots of training, Triby has matured into a steadfast hiking partner who we can rely on to lead by example. He's a great listener and enjoys people talking to him on the trail. And now he doesn't shy away from the camera at all!! He is the half brother to our female, Luda (they share the same sire).

Elvis is the most curious llama ever! He won't hesitate to come check things out. Pucker up because he loves to give llama kisses. He's our youngest llama, and he has matured into a strong, solid packer- just watch out because he does like to snack on the trail! Elvis is sweet, fun, and his fiber is so silky soft (like his mama, Luda). He's full of energy and ready to go! Elvis is one of the first llamas born on our farm. We are currently working on getting him registered through ILR.

Luda is our only female llama on the farm. She is at her best when she is pregnant- she's an attentive, wonderful llama mama! Luda has amazing body conformation and her fiber is silky and soft (more like alpaca fiber). She comes from solid bloodlines. Luda can be a little skittish, but warms up to you quickly if you offer her some yummy grain. While we have taken her out on hikes before, her job on the farm is to produce awesome babies for our hiking business. Luda is the mother to our Elvis.
