You'll be joined by two gentle llamas, and each guest will have the opportunity to lead a llama during the hike. For groups of more than two guests, everyone will have a chance to take a turn leading one of these curious and gentle hiking companions.

As you wander through peaceful forests, golden aspen groves, and open mountain meadows, your guide will share stories about the area's wildlife and plants. You'll meander alongside cabins of the Staunton family—early 1900s Colorado homesteaders whose legacy helped shape this remarkable landscape. Keep your eyes open for local wildlife, including elk and mule deer, which are often seen in the park during the fall.

Midway through your journey, you'll visit the historic Staunton homestead cabin, where you'll warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies while learning more about life on the Colorado frontier. It's the perfect opportunity to slow down, soak in the peaceful surroundings, and embrace the cozy spirit of autumn.

As the sun begins to set over the Rockies, you'll continue your hike beneath glowing skies and brilliant fall colors before ending your adventure with plenty of time for photos, unforgettable llama hugs, and memories you'll treasure long after your visit.
